Maradiva hotel was built in 2004 on one of the most beautiful and longest beaches in the west coast of the island of Mauritius and is a complex of 65 luxurious individual villas set in groups of four semi-circles along the coast. Magnificent villas in contemporary Mauritian style under the roofs of wooden shingle, with a slight hint of oriental exoticism, equipped with everything necessary for a relaxing holiday. This is the case when the charm comes in the subtle elegant simplicity of the atmosphere, which is called good taste. Each villa has its own swimming pool and a separate pavilion which serves as a lounge and for dining outdoors. From the villa you go to a private garden protected from the prying eyes with a wall of fragrant tropical vegetation where you can swim naked in the pool or have breakfast in your pajamas. From your own garden you can get on a green lawn leading to the beach- well-groomed as if the grass is trimmed with nail scissors. If you want to, they say, socialize - please! In a small restaurant on the beach reigns an elegant lively atmosphere. Here the chef can every day surprise you with new gourmet dishes and the sommelier offers a wine list of hundreds brands of fine wines. In the hotel's SPA professional massage therapists- experts in the traditional techniques of therapeutic massage, shiatsu and aromatherapy are always at your service. In Maradiva You are free to choose - take a walk on a motor boat or fly around the island by helicopter, go fishing or diving, play tennis or visit the gym ... And you can even have a look at the local disco in the small tourist town just a few minutes walk away. The hotel has been voted twice as the best resort of Mauritius (Mauritius' Leading Resort) by such a prestigious organization as the World Travel Awards in 2009 and 2010.
